Heating Engineer

Salary

£28,600 pa

£48,000+ pa

Gas Tech (Wales) Ltd is an established heating company, incorporated in 2011. We have long term contracts and are looking to expand our current workforce.

The successful candidate will be experienced in the installation of domestic gas boilers and heating systems. You will complete all aspects of heating installations, installing to manufacturers' instructions and industry best practice.

Oil and LPG experience would be an advantage, as would previous experience with air source heat pumps.

A company van, tablet and uniform will be provided. You will need a full driving licence and a clean CRB check (Gas Tech (Wales) will carry this out).

Weekend work is available to boost potential earnings, and bonus schemes are in place. Salary is negotiable depending on agreed milestone targets being achieved (performance related).

The following gas qualifications are required, although some are not essential:

  • CCN1
  • CENWAT1
  • CKR1
  • HTR1
  • CPA1

Heating Surveyor / DEA

£28,600 pa

£41,600+

Gas Tech (Wales) Ltd is an established heating and renewables company, incorporated in 2011. We have long term contracts and an exciting opportunity for the right person as a Heating Surveyor / DEA.

You will complete surveys for new heating installations along with retrofit assessments, selecting the correct materials to ensure a right first time approach and helping our in-house installation teams get organised. Surveys must meet the client's requirements (boiler assessments will be required).

As the company's needs change you must be willing to complete new training, paid for by Gas Tech (Wales). You will need excellent customer service skills and be well presented in customers' homes.

You will be given a tablet, with training on our in-house developed software and client supplied systems, plus a company vehicle, fuel card, uniform, measuring equipment and flue gas analyser.

Qualifications:

  • Gas qualifications (required)
  • Domestic Energy Assessment qualification (an advantage)
  • Retrofit Assessor qualification (an advantage)
